The M3 3D printer from MakerGear comes fully assembled with a heated build plate, wireless connectivity, and a 0.35mm nozzle on each of the direct drive hotends to get your first print going right away. The printer features a compact design without sacrificing build area, making parts easy to retrieve when finished printing. This model includes the dual direct drive independent extruders for all your multi-material 3D printing needs.

RELIABILITY BUILT IN
The M3 comes fully assembled and ready to get printing right away. The heated build plate is leveled using screws under the bed to ensure a perfectly level surface. Once the platform is leveled, it holds true and shouldn’t need to be re-calibrated. The 0.35mm nozzles offers good print speed with excellent surface quality, to ensure a quality experience no matter the goal. Dual Direct Drive makes the design more compact, since the extruders are mounted directly on top of the machine using smooth linear rails for travel around the print area.
The MakerGear M3 dual is a direct drive 3D printer, meaning the extruder gear is mounted next to the hotend and travels with the nozzle. On many machines the increased toolhead weight limits the speed of the toolhead, but the M3 features a compact extruder mounted using a linear rail for maximum support and stability. Also, the toolhead of the M3 travels only in the X-axis, while the bed moves in the Z and Y. This makes the toolhead motion simpler and allows for faster movement speeds without sacrificing print quality.

INDEPENDENT DUAL EXTRUDERS
The M3 Independent Dual is a dual extrusion 3D printer, capable of creating single parts with two colors or materials. But the M3 goes one step beyond and the two hotends are actually separate carriages and travel independently. That means the hotend that is not in use rests off to the side, keeping the second nozzle out of the way and eliminating any unnecessary toolhead weight. Each extruder and nozzle assembly is identical to that of the standard M3, this machine simply has two of them.
